Ace is Tardis' router. Right now it's on spiderport 1 and '193.62.81.1'.

The onboard hme ethernet interface (eth0 08:00:20:FD:6D:C4) is connected to our upstream network port. A 3c905 PCI ethernet card provides a connection to the internal network (eth1 00:60:08:4F:76:52), and supports VLAN tagging.

To advertise the route to Tardis and deal with routing to the outside world we are running the quagga routing daemon. We only require a minimal RIP configuration (see /etc/quagga/ripd.conf).

The firewall script is in

/root/tardis-firewall

. Changes should be managed using rcs. Beware of the failsafe mechanism…

A 6to4 Tunnel also runs on Ace to provide ipv6 conenctivity. It has it's own firewall script at

/root/tardis-IPv6firewall
