This page outlines our core services and platform, and is mostly intended for people intending to work on them.

It mostly links to other pages which go into more detail, but please still check this is up to date when making changes.

Network Structure

We divide our network into 2 vLANs:

	* Managed (1) - Hosts where only the admins have root access
	* Unmanaged (2) - Hosts where any other user have root access.

Managed

In our managed vLAN, we have a few other subnets for things like k8s, but our main one is

This section lists all of our hosts, and the services we run on them.

Pages are created automatically by a Python script in Netbox. If you want to add a service, please ask an admin to put it on Netbox for you and re-run the exporter script.

Boring things like ports, IPs, etc. should go on Netbox, whereas details on how it is configured and how you can use it should go here.

This page provides an overview of how we do user hosting, and all of the resources available. If you're looking for how to take advantage of these services, instead see the guides in howto.

Kubernetes

Our kubernetes cluster is built on k0s and runs on several VMs. We use namespace isolation to allow for multi-tenancy, and the tardis console is able to create/destroy namespaces for users.

User VMs

We can make user VMs for people on request. Whether or not a donation is needed is pretty much admin discretion.

Currently, we do this by making an LXC container or VM in Proxmox.

	* Access the proxmox interface by executing ssh tardisproject.uk -L 8006:canton.internal.tardisproject.uk:8006
